Have you ever finished with someone with a wish it had been different?

My wish list

You have for me an amazing body which did wonderful things for me every time I saw you. It was utterly joyous to be aroused by you so profoundly.

Wish 1 I didn’t have to cover myself up in bed and not make contact during the night.

You dance

Wish 2 that you had agreed to dance with me on a weekly basis.  It would have been the most romantic thing in the world to me and fulfilled a life-long dream.  I would have paid for the hour.

You are amazing for your age even if you have bits missing, are going slightly deaf, can’t bend down to tie your shoe laces easily and take pills to keep an erection (which incidently I really respect)

Wish 3 that you don’t tell lies

I respect your business acumen, generally found you great fun to be with, love the fact that you live in a clean house (many men don’t!)

Wish 4 that you could have loved me for the things I am really proud of – like how I have come from really humble origins and through education and hard work made a career for myself focused on making a difference, stayed independently financially solvent and been there to support my 3 children.  I am an educated and well travelled person.  I felt we had a diversity of approach that complimented each other.  I felt we had the resources to travel widely and do really interesting things.

Wish 5 that your focus on me wasn’t all about how I looked and dressed.  One comment epitomised our different approach.  You asked me about my Monday appointments in St Albans.  I said it was a health issue.  You assumed I was ‘getting something done about my eyes’.  Actually I visit a therapist to look at why I feel I am making poor choices in relationships.

P.S. I loved the way you called me ‘H’.

Xxx

P.P.S his response was excoriating and unprintable!
