website refresh

I am having a bit of a website refresh. I am not sure if one should keep it the same for familiarity and recognition, or change it so readers feel it is current, but I just wanted a change. Life does not stand still.

You can’t read my Cameroon and Sri Lankan posts on the site any more, but you can buy the ebooks and as the ebooks do not have photos you can visit the picture galleries.

The site has morphed into something more personal rather than work related. I thought it might, which guided my original choice of the BORN59 generic title. There is a lot of reflection on my adult life.

Unwittingly the blog has also become the significant outlet of my self-expression. How I express myself in words is the real me. The blog brings me great pleasure and peace. My daughter says I am a real writer. I am not saying that means I am a classic author. I couldn’t write a book for example, but I am a real writer in the sense that I cannot NOT write.

I probably have another year of historic stuff I can utilise. Remember I still work full time! I am interested to see how the site further develops in the next year.
