goals
These are my goals (mainly practical ones) since 2015. Those in italics are the ones I achieved in that year.
Goals 2015 – 16
Look at how I am going to develop over the next year. I am going to finish the house. I am going to get carpets and flooring including a beautiful rug for the lounge. I am going to get a double fuel burner in the lounge. I am going to fix the stained glass window in the hall. I am going to buy a lovely arm chair for my bedroom.
I am going to get my tooth sorted and some new glasses. I am going to swim once a week at the Inspire pool.
I am going to work/post on my website methodically and diligently for a year.
Next year I am going to go to Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
I am going to stay active in the church. I am going to drink less red wine because I will be so absorbed and happy ………….
Goals 2016 -17
Look at how I am going to develop over the next year.
With my blog, now I have learned how to reduce the size of photos I am going to tweet every day with a picture.
I am going to finish the lounge which means taking out the old fireplace and repairing it, buying a fuel burner, taking up the old carpet and repairing the floor boards, getting a new carpet and buying a huge arm chair.
I am going to cut down those pesky trees I don’t like in the back garden and buy a special blossom tree I like I can’t remember the name of.
I am going to visit Cancun in Mexico (even if I go on my own). I am going to sign up for Cambodia and Laos if possible.
I am going to try and keep a thread with World Horizons if this is what God is telling me.
I am going to help at Sunday School, but only when they don’t have outside speakers.
I am going to go to the lovely gym 2-3 times a week.
With all that therapy I am getting I am not going to go on dating websites any more, but try to give that aspect of my life a rest.
Goals 2017 -2018
I am going to go to Australia and Hong Kong
I am going to redecorate J2’s room and get a new lodger
I am going to get a new carpet for the lounge
Get the magnolia tree for the back garden
Pay off my credit card.
Sometimes it’s good to see that you achieve what you say you are going to.
